Your First Visit

Our goal is to restore and maintain your dental and oral health. We are here to answer all your questions and make you as comfortable as possible. Your first visit will last approximately an hour. Dr. Thompson will do a comprehensive oral evaluation, during which time we will do a oral cancer screening, look for cavities, and diagnose gum disease or other conditions. One of our skilled hygienists will discuss home care and review important topics uniquely tailored to your situation. In most cases, we will take x-rays and clean your teeth. After your dental problems have been diagnosed, we will go over all treatment options and determine a treatment plan for your smile.
When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your dental treatment. If you have previous x-rays or records from another dentist, please bring these with you or have the previous office send us copies.

The first step towards a beautiful, healthy smile is to schedule an appointment. Please contact our office by phone or complete an online appointment request.

Patient Forms

If you are a new patient to our office, please visit our Patient Forms page to download our new patient bundle with forms that will need to be filled out when you arrive at our office. Printing them, filling them out and bringing them with you will allow us to attend to your medical needs more quickly than completing them on your arrival.  Thank you and please contact our office if you have any questions at all.

Payment Options

We are committed to providing a variety of dental treatment options that is affordable for everyone.  Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of applicable fees, and we will inform you of all estimated costs before treatment is administered.  We appreciate that our patients provide payment at the time services are rendered.

As a courtesy to our patients with dental insurance, we generally only require payment of the estimated out-of-pocket portion of services rendered – not the entire treatment amount.  We then gladly file all private and employer-sponsored dental insurance claims.  After claims are paid by insurance, patients are responsible for all treatment unpaid by the dental insurance company.  Estimation of insurance amounts is not a guarantee of insurance payment.

For our patients without dental insurance, we gladly offer a 10% credit adjustment to their dental treatment to help offset their healthcare expenses.

A member of our team will review our payment options with you to find an option that best suits your needs.  For the convenience of our patients, we accept the following forms of payment:

Dental Insurance

We gladly file and accept all private and employer-sponsored dental insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. Patients are responsible for payment of all treatment rendered, including all amounts unpaid by their dental insurance company. Estimation of insurance amounts is not a guarantee of insurance payment.
